Live Music - Sponge

Sponge is an alternative rock band formed in Detroit in 1992, led by vocalist Vinnie Dombroski. 

They broke through with their platinum debut album Rotting Piñata (1994), featuring hits like Plowed and Molly (16 Candles). Their follow-up, Wax Ecstatic (1996), also produced major singles and earned critical recognition. 

Over a 30+ year career, Sponge has released multiple albums and maintained a steady touring presence, with Dombroski as the constant member. Known for hits like Have You Seen Mary, the band continues to perform and release new music, remaining a staple of Detroit's rock scene.
